• A pass in the SSLC and Higher Secondary.
• Any other equivalent conducted by the State Government or any other Legal board.
• Eligibility Certificate from Bharathidasan University must be produced by the students from outside Tamil Nadu for admission.
• Clearance Certificate from Bharathidasan University is must for the students from outside India.

B.A. ENGLISH

A pass in 10+2

B.Com &  B.B.A & B.Com (CA)

A pass in 10+2 with Commerce and Accountancy. 20% of seats may be reserved for Vocational Stream.

B.C.A. & B.Sc. Computer Science & B.Sc Data Science

A pass in 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the core subject.

B.Sc. Biochemistry

A pass in 10+2 with Chemistry and Biology

B.Sc. Mathematics

A pass in 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the core subject.

B.Sc. Microbiology

A pass in 10+2 with Biology as one of the core subject.

B.Sc. Physics

A pass in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.

M.A. ENGLISH

A pass in B.A. English Literature (OR) any degree with English as Part II language.

M.Com

A pass in B.Com / Bank Management / Computer Applications /
Financial Management / B.Com (Applied) / Co-operation /
B.B.A. and other related Programmes equivalent to B.Com. 

M.C.A. 

 A candidate who is a graduate to Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry or Statistics or Computer Science or Information Technology or Industrial Electronics or Applied Science (with Mathematics as an allied subject or Major Subject) or B.Com. or B.B.A. or B.E. / B.Tech except Computer Science in Engineering Branch) / AMIE of this university or from a recognized University or an examination accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent there to.

M.C.A. Lateral Entry

PGDCA / B.Sc. Computer Science / B.Sc. Information Technology / B.C.A. / B.Sc Software Development.

M.Sc. Computer Science

B.Sc. Computer Science / B.Sc. Information Technology / B.C.A. / B.Sc. Software Development of this University or from a recognized University or an examination accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent there to.

M.Sc. Biochemistry

Candidate who have passed bachelor level examination in Botany / Zoology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Genetics / Medicine / Agriculture / Life Sciences / Chemistry / Pharmacy from any recognized university in India or abroad.

• The candidates interested in applying for M.Phil. in our Institution should have completed Master’s degree with minimum 50% marks or a CGPA of 5.51 in Commerce.
• Students who have completed graduation or post graduation from distance mode or any open University are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have qualified CA, CFA, ACS or ICWAI with a basic graduation degree can apply for M.Phil courses as well.
• SC/ST candidates get 5% relaxation of marks in the prescribed minimum marks.
• Teachers who are regularly employed in this University or colleges affiliated to this University can also apply for M.Phil. programs.

Candidate who have qualified for Master’s degree (10 +2 +3 +2 pattern or equivalent in that order) of this university or any other university recognized by UGC as equivalent thereto with not less than 55% of marks or as CGPA of 5.51 in the 10 point scale under CBCS, under the faculty of Arts, Science, Fine Arts Indian and other Language, Management, Law, Education/ Educational Technology, Engineering, Technology, Commerce, Pharmacy, Medicine, Surgery, Veterinary Science.etc., are eligible to register for Ph.D in Bharathidasan University under this category. Candidates, who have qualified for CA/CFA/ACS/ICWA with basic degree, are also eligible to register for Ph.D, Bharathidasan University under this category.
