ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of B.Sc(Computer Science) was established in the year 1994. As per the University rules the total intake of this department is 100 students. Every batch of students has been successful in academic and co-curricular activities. Our department has dedicated staff members who are experienced in the field of computer technology and information security. The department has infrastructure to offer quality education and training. To Train and equip the students to meet the requirement of the software Industries, Banking and Government Sectors. To develop skills in software development with security measures so as to enable the students to take up employment in Home & global market. To provide a strong foundation to pursue Post Graduation Programme in Computer Science. The department itself sustained with the well equipped computer laboratories with internet facilities, LCD seminar hall, Software, Volumes of books, e-books, IEEE, Science Direct, Computer Journals subscribed. The computer center is well-equipped with all modern facilities. It houses 2 servers one with windows 2012-R2 server and red hat enterprise Linux 6 server, 1 backup server and 146 computers in windows 07 with client-server architecture.

To students are provided with best learning experience and smart learning atmosphere to enrich computer education for rural students. Through enhancing knowledge and building confidence in them to face global competitions. Pursue their career by solving problems using various methodologies. Lead their career with excellent application or security level programming skills.
Enabling the students to face corporate world with credence, they are tuned with the human values and soft skills. Rendering the skills of the students in various fields like creative ideas, problem solving skills, leadership qualities, team spirit and ethical responsibilities, the Department conducts various programs etc., The department encourages participations in Co-Curricular and Extra-curricular activities to bring out the talents of students.
