M.I.E.T. Arts College, established in 1994 by the Mohammed Institute of Education and Technology Society, Tiruchirappalli, is a recognized Muslim Minority Institution affiliated with Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. Founded by Alhaj A. Mohamed Yunus, an industrialist and educationist, and Alhaj S.M. Hassan Mohamed, a philanthropist, the college is committed to the cause of higher education, particularly for students from minority and rural communities.
