M.I.E.T. Arts College, established in 1994 by the Mohammed Institute of Education and Technology Society, Tiruchirappalli, is a recognized Muslim Minority Institution affiliated with Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. Founded by Alhaj A. Mohamed Yunus, an industrialist and educationist, and Alhaj S.M. Hassan Mohamed, a philanthropist, the college is committed to the cause of higher education, particularly for students from minority and rural communities.

Our institution has a strong academic track record and provides a holistic learning environment. With well-maintained hostels for boys and girls, college buses for convenient transportation, and fee concessions for girl students to promote women’s education, we aim to ensure accessibility and inclusivity. The campus also boasts excellent sports facilities, supported by professional trainers, and actively promotes co-curricular and extracurricular activities through units like NSS, Exnora Club, Rotaract Club, and Citizen Consumer Club.

    Beyond academics, we focus on enhancing the employability of our students by offering special coaching for competitive exams such as TNPSC, UPSC, and bank exams, along with communication, aptitude, and soft skills training. Our placement cell works actively with leading companies to secure job opportunities for students, achieving over 50% placements annually.

    Our library provides resources for academic and competitive exam preparation, and we guide students to avail various scholarships, including SC/ST Scholarship, Minority Scholarship, and Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Female Child. Through regular guest lectures, training programs, and campus recruitment drives, we equip our students to excel in their careers and contribute as responsible citizens.
