Computer Science Department
The Department of Computer Science at M.I.E.T. Arts & Science College was established in 1994 and has since been committed to delivering quality education in the field of computer technology and information security. With a total intake of 100 students as per university regulations, the department has consistently achieved excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. The department aims to train and equip students to meet the demands of the software industry, banking sector, and government organizations. It provides a strong foundation for students aspiring to pursue postgraduate programs in Computer Science. The department is supported by dedicated faculty members who specialize in cutting-edge technologies and innovative teaching methods. With well-equipped computer laboratories, the department offers hands-on training using modern facilities, including: - 2 servers (Windows 2012-R2 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6) and 1 backup server. - 146 computers operating on Windows 7 with a client-server architecture. - Access to internet facilities, LCD seminar halls, and an extensive collection of books, e-books, IEEE resources, Science Direct journals, and other computer journals.
To provide students with the best learning experience in a smart and inclusive environment, enriching computer education for rural students, and preparing them to face global challenges with confidence and competence.

WORKSHOP
MIET ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE AND PG Department of Computer Science Conducted a one day workshop on 30.08.2023, at 10.30 AM in our college seminar hall. Dr. K. Syed Kousr Niasi, Associate Professor, and N.
