The Department of Mathematics at M.I.E.T. Arts & Science College commenced the B.Sc. (Mathematics) program in 2011, offering a robust curriculum that combines foundational mathematics with practical applications. Allied subjects include Mathematical Statistics in the first year and Computer Programming in the second year, providing students with a comprehensive skill set. The department is supported by qualified, energetic, and dedicated faculty members who specialize in diverse areas of mathematics. The faculty is committed to delivering exceptional education and mentorship, fostering both academic and personal growth in students. The department regularly hosts monthly seminars conducted by eminent scholars from various universities to enrich the students' learning experience. Motivation programs are also organized to inspire students and prepare them for competitive exams. The success of the department is reflected in its alumni, with students securing placements in esteemed companies like V.Dart and excelling academically, as demonstrated by Radhika (Batch 2015-18), who achieved 9th rank at the university level.
