Department of Business Administration
The Department of Business Administration at M.I.E.T. Arts & Science College was established in 1994, with the Undergraduate Course (BBA) being introduced in 2016. The department follows Bharathidasan University guidelines, with a total intake capacity of 60 students per batch. The department is committed to delivering quality education and training in the field of Business Administration. It is equipped with the necessary infrastructure to provide a conducive learning environment. Guided by a team of dedicated and experienced faculty members, the department ensures that students excel academically and in co-curricular activities. Each batch has achieved remarkable results, with students securing university ranks every year. Beyond academics, students actively participate in sports, fine arts, and other co-curricular activities, earning accolades and enhancing the college’s reputation.

WORKSHOP
A workshop on " Shaping a Successful Career " was conducted by the Department of Business Administration at M.I.E.T Arts & Science College, Trichy, on August 21, 2025. The event took place in the Seminar Hall at 10:30 AM and was attended by BBA students. The program began with a Qirath by Mohammed Zayan of I-year BBA student, followed by the Tamizh Thai Vaazhthu. Mrs Vijayalakshmi from the Department of Business Administration delivered the welcome address. The resource person, Dr. S. Arokiya Punitha, Head and Assistant Professor from the Department of Business Administration at Holy Cross College (Autonomous), Trichy, was honored and introduced by Dr. Y. Glory Violet Aron, Head, Department of BBA. Dr. Punitha then presented on the topic of shaping a successful career, sharing her expertise with the students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Harini, a second-year student, and the National Anthem. The workshop aimed to provide BBA students with insights and guidance on career development, leveraging her experience in business administration.

SEMINAR
ENTREPRENEUR DEVELOPMENT CELL (EDC)
The Entrepreneur Cell has conducted a one day Seminar on 18.10.2024 and the session was handled by Mr. Rajakumar Tamilnadu Livelihoods (TNULM). The session has covered the procedure and initiatives of the new entrepreneur.

Department of business administration has organized One day workshop on “Emerging Career in Management” on 19thseptember 2024. Mr. AH MOHAMED IMRAN, BDM synergy, Trichy handled the first session and Mr. TIMOTHY KINGSLEY, BDM synergy, Trichy handled the second session.
